Public guided tours

During regular opening hours, the Uniseum offers free guided tours of the exhibition in German. They take place at 2.15 p.m. and 4.15 p.m.

Registration is not required.

Special guided tours

By arrangement, we can also offer individual guided tours for private persons or groups outside the regular opening hours.

Special guided tours are also available in English.

The student prisons (Karzer) of the University of Freiburg can only be visited as part of a special guided tour. The meeting point for the tours is the archway of the Uniseum entrance in the Old University.

Please allow for at least one week prior notice for the planning of the guided tours.

Duration

The tours take about 60 minutes and you can expect a total time frame of 1.5 hours.

Costs

A fee of 90 euros is charged per guided tour.

Payment takes place by invoice.

Group size

Uniseum     20 persons

Karzer        15 persons

For larger groups, it is possible to divide the tour into two tours taking place at the same time.
